Baby is a very picky girl, so sometimes finding a treat that she will love is hard. Enter the BarkBox! Each month you can surprise your furry friend with new treats and toys from this awesome subscription box for dogs! Baby’s BarkBox arrived on her birthday, and somehow she knew right away that the package was for her!

Action shot!

We loved what came in our first BarkBox. The toy was a huge success, Baby was running around with it all day long, and she even tasted some of the treats (this friends, is saying a lot). Besides being filled with great items, we felt great about this dog box because the company donates 10% of proceeds on each box to animal welfare organizations!

BarkBoxDivingIn

Every month, Scout, the head dog at BarkBox, picks out four to six treats, toys and hygiene products to send to your dog. All their products are sourced in the United States, Canada, South America and New Zealand. They never send products that they don’t feel comfortable giving their own dogs. They don’t send rawhide or anything that’s been processed with formaldehyde. They are trying to get products with minimal processing and are moving towards limited and single ingredient treats. We love that!

BarkBox Box

We also love that BarkBox customizes the boxes to fit different sized dogs. We got the small dog box, and it was a great fit for our girl. What was in our box:

  • Pet Lifestyle And You (P.L.A.Y) We were thrilled to find an item from P.L.A.Y in our BarkBox! The P.L.A.Y zucchini toy was a big hit!
  • N-Bone Always nice when something can clean and freshen dog breath! The all-natural Pearly Whites chew bone is wheat-, corn- and soy-free.
  • Bocce’s Bakery Baby wasn’t sure what to make of the Truffle Mac & Cheese delights! The truffle was a very new flavor for her, and this was a new item that BarkBox introduced to us.
  • Happy Howie’s Happy Howie’s treats are all-natural, and convenient. Break them into tiny-sized training portions for a real treat.
  • Etta Says The 7-inch Crunchy Deer Chew is a natural way to keep your pup busy. Great for dogs with allergies.

BarkBox Sizes include:

  • Small & Cute (0-20 lbs)
  • Just Right (20-50 lbs)
  • Big & Bold (50+ lbs)

They also offer a range of plan lengths:

  • 1 month – $29
  • 3 months – $72 ($24 per month – save over 17%)
  • 6 months – $114 ($19 per month – save over 34%)

Traveling with dogs

SubaruDLBabyDoes your dog love traveling in the car with you? Baby sure does, sometimes she even likes to pretend that she is driving, which is why we were excited to create this doggy drivers license for her using the fun Subaru app on Facebook!

While taking your dog with you in the car can be a lot of fun, there are some things to consider. Safety should always come first, make sure your pup has their own “booster seat” or seat belt. It’s also a good idea to pack a travel bag for your dog, include a water bowl, treats, a leash, poop bags, and a towel. And of course, be aware if your dog gets car sick or not! Not all dogs enjoy a good ride (though it seems that most do)!

You might even want to buy some “Doggles” to protect their eyes, just in case your dog loves hanging their head out of the window. For traveling longer distances with your dogs, be sure to pack any medication they take, a favorite toy, and of course, a comfy bed.

Perhaps your pup is looking to buy a new vehicle to take you for rides in! They can always visit Subaru’s Grant Weber, the first car salesman just for dogs! There are more goodies from Subaru too! You can ask a dog expert any question you like, put your dog in a Subaru to see how great they will look driving in it, and even use the Subaru dog matchmaker.

Now are you ready for even more fun? Enter to win a $350 Visa gift card or a $150 Visa gift card! Just think of all the gas you could put in your car for a little roadtrip with your favorite pup! All you have to do is use the form below!

Rachael Ray Nutrish Naturally Delish

Baby was very excited to try the new Rachael Ray Nutrish Naturally Delish wet dog foods! If your dog would like to try, be sure to keep reading, as we have a Naturally Delish giveaway for you at the end of this post! One lucky dog will get to try the four flavors (one of each) just like Baby did!

First things first, this food looks and smells amazing. Yes, it looks like “people food” and your pup could easily be fooled into thinking they are getting table food instead of food meant for them! So of course, Baby had to try it out at the table.

The first thing we had her try was the “Chicken Paw Pie”, and she simply loved it! There are four flavors total; Chicken Paw Pie, Savory Lamb Stew, Hearty Beef Stew, and Chicken Muttballs with Pasta. We love that it is made with natural ingredients such as real meat and farm picked veggies. Also we love that there is no corn, wheat or soy, and no fillers, by products, artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives!

She loved it! Are you hoping that your pup can give some a try too? Just leave a comment on this post letting us know why you would like to try Rachael Ray Nutrish Naturally Delish for your chance to win! Comment before midnight on August 10th, open to USA only, and you may enter daily.
