Best Friends was curious about people dressing up their pets for Halloween, so they did a survey. More than 6,000 people responded, and the results are now in a fun video:
We love a cute costumed pet, especially if your pet enjoys it too! Not all pets do though, but if you happen to fall into the “yes, I dress up my pet category,” you may enjoy the online photo gallery, which you can check out here. Anyone can submit photos of their own pups by uploading them directly to the gallery or by using #BFHowloween on Twitter or Instagram.

Pets spend so much time waiting for their people to come back from work. And of course, we miss our pets when we go to the office all day too! If you work at Purina you and your pet are very lucky! More than 17 years ago, Nestle Purina started encouraging its associates to bring their pets to work and the program has provided many benefits for employees and their pets through the years.
The pet-care industry leader celebrated national Take Your Dog to Work Day (June 26) by encouraging other companies to join them in this movement and start their own pets at work policy. Purina went all out, planning a day of fun-filled activities for employees and pets at the Purina headquarters in St. Louis, highlighted by an attempt to set a RecordSetter.com World Record for ‘Most Pets in the Workplace in One Day’!
The day-long event included performances by the Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Team, pet check-ups by veterinarians, pet photographs by a professional pet photographer and a “Yappy Hour” with ice cream and Frosty Paws cold treats for associates and their pets. Sounds like the best day of the year if you ask me!
Purina is encouraging employers across the nation to take the Pets at Work pledge and help advocate for pet-friendly offices. It’s not just the pets who benefit, the people do too! In a recent survey by Purina and the Mississippi State University College of Veterinarian Medicine, we found among 750 U.S. respondents:
Almost two out of three employees agree pets should be allowed in the workplace if there is a general consensus among employees.
85 percent of employees of companies with pets in the office say that pets at work policies are beneficial.
72 percent of employees said that their jobs currently do not allow pets in the workplace o More than half of those who want pets allowed in the office are willing to spearhead efforts to make their workplaces pet-friendly
Does your workplace allow pets all the time? Did you get to celebrate Take Your Dog to Work Day this year?

Regardless of whether you’re hard of hearing or have perfect hearing (for a human), this infographic will show you that – whilst us humans are a talented bunch for the most part – our hearing doesn’t compare in the slightest to some creatures out there.
The pitch of a sound is measured in Hertz (Hz) frequency, with the smaller frequencies being lower notes and higher frequencies being the opposite; higher pitched notes.
