Have you ever wondered who was smarter, a dog or a baby? Well, it turns out someone has finally found the answer, can you guess which one it is?

The Purina Pet Comedy Challenge has just kicked off the voting stage of its second annual search to find the comedian with the funniest pet-related humor.
It kicked off in February with a 4-city tour where comedians performed their best family-friendly pet jokes. The first and second place comedians from each city won a spot in the Finals. However, the
third and forth place comedians need America’s help! Their acts have been posted on www.petcentric.com, where everyone can watch them and vote for their favorite. The two comedians out of eight that receive the most online votes will join the other top finishers at the Finals, where the winner walks away with $10,000.
So, if you need a good laugh, be sure to head on over to Petcentric and watch the videos! While you are there, take a look around at all the other cool stuff they have going on too.
This is awesome! The Humane Society is having a caption contest, for LOL Seals!
That’s right, the LOLcats that you love have inspired a fun contest to help raise awareness about the seal hunt. Head on over and join in the fun!

Our little tech geek pup has made it to the big time with a spot on an Ultra Kawaii episode! Who knew there were so many computer loving pets out there?? Too cute!
Let’s get the new year started off right! Here is a great video of Snowball, the awesome dancing parrot, and mascot for Bird Lovers Only.
You may have seen Snowball on Animal Planet’s special, The Year in Animals. If not, be sure to visit their site and learn more about the rescue efforts they are making on behalf of feathered friends!
We have a bird and a rat. The rat has been part of our family for a little over a month now. We have tried to introduce the bird and the rat to each other, and they tolerate each other. However, it turns out that our bird is very territorial. We always suspected this about her, since she loves to yell if you mess with her stuff.
One of the things we were hoping for is that they would keep each other entertained in the day time when we are gone. And while the bird does enjoy watching the rat run around, she really only tolerates it for a time, then she starts getting loud.
Have you seen rat ears? They are made to hear, and hear well. So, obviously this isn’t a match made in heaven. We are keeping them apart to avoid any mishaps, and to protect the little rat ears from damage. But the funniest part of it (at least for us) is how unafraid our bird is of our rat. Our bird! The bird who is afraid of her own feathers fluffing in the air!
Do you have any stories about introducing new pets to your other pets? How did it go?
