Skittles’ Surgery GoFundMe

Skittles 1 Reader Bridget needs our help! On April 15th, 2014, Skittles required emergency surgery due to an intestinal obstruction. Thank goodness, he is out of surgery and healing now. But, due to the surgery being an emergency performed by a specialist, his medical bills are through the roof.

So far, Bridget has raised over 50% from friends, family, and animal lovers from all over, which is amazing! Now, she hopes to reach more animal lovers to help fundraise the remaining amount. Any funds that are raised in excess of Skittles’ medical bills will be donated to Cape Ann Animal Aid, a no-kill animal shelter in Gloucester, Massachusetts.

If only I won the lotto I would help. At least this little fella is alive. Unfortunately my cat that was run over 4th April @ 11-30pm didn’t make it.

  2. This is Bridget, Skittles’ caretaker here. Thank you so much for posting Skittles! It has really been uplifting to receive kind words and support not only from friends and family, but also from animal lovers from all over the world. And now that Skittles is finally starting to do better, I am so happy! Thank you all!

@jananthonisz, I am so sorry to hear about your cat. You are right–I am so thankful that Skittles is alive, and that he is finally doing better.
