The Rose Parade 2013

We are pretty excited to watch The Rose Parade this year. Not only is it a beautiful parade, featuring floats made of flowers and other plant materials, but this year is extra special for animal lovers. We have two very special announcements to share with you!

Dr. Jane Goodall will be the Grand Marshal for the parade! Not only will Dr. Goodall ride in the 124th Rose Parade she will also toss the coin before the 99th Rose Bowl Game. The theme this year is based on the beloved Dr. Seuss story “Oh the Places You’ll Go”.

There will also be a very special float honoring military dogs and our pal Tillman became an honorary military dog and will be riding on the float! We can’t wait to see this special float honoring the working dogs that protect and keep our troops (and us) safe.

Be sure to tune in to the 124th Rose Parade! The parade will be broadcast on ABC, Hallmark Channel, HGTV, KTLA (Tribune), NBC, RFD-TV and Univision Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. (PST).

I saw the white dog with red coat on! I love it! I have a look a like dog. Charlie is 8 yo. She is my baby girl. I live in NY. Is there any way I can adopt her/him? Charlie’s sister died in May and I would be so happy to get her a new friend.
