High Hopes

Would you like a fun way to celebrate a special day with your dog? What if you could also help shelter pets at the same time? If you said YES!, then High Hopes has just what you need.

Celebration Cupcakes are adorable treats that you can make quickly and easily for your pet. We got a chance to try them out, and used them for Baby’s 7th birthday. She loved the treat, and we loved how easy they were to prepare. We also love that they are made with human food-grade ingredients. In fact, we took a little taste ourselves (not bad for a dog treat)! The frosting is made with real yogurt, egg whites and all-natural coloring. The kit comes with everything you need, including reusable mini baking cups. It even has a little booklet of decorating and party tips. They bake in just 10 mins, and can be mixed with either milk or water.

High Hopes doesn’t just make a fun product though, they also give back to help animals through The High Hopes for Pets Foundation. The foundation is a separate and independent not-for-profit entity. The High Hopes brand donates 3.5% from every sale of every product (up to 15% of the company’s profits) to the Foundation.

A great gift for animal lovers any time of year!

I’m really glad to see more companies taking this approach for doing good with their profits as opposed to just making executives rich!

My company MusixShare is doing something very similar with our Cause Compilations.

We partner with charities, worthy causes, and musical artists to create a specific music compilation with 60% of each transaction going to the cause.

We just released “Still Standing”, our first cause compilation, to benefit the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society.

Really hope more companies like High Hopes and MusixShare will find ways to give back and help more of our furry friends!

What a great idea! I am going to have to try these out for Spike and Dru. The one year anniversary of their arrival is coming up and would be the perfect occasion for some cupcakes.
