Lion Ranger: Trouble in the Pride

What are your plans for the Labor Day weekend? After enjoying the extra long weekend, maybe you will want to wind down by watching this show on Nat Geo Wild! It sounds interesting to me, I’ll have to add it to the DVR right away.

Monday, September 6, 2010 at 9 PM ET/PT

Meet the biggest pride in the Kingdom of the Great White Lion, “Kaiser’s Pride.” It is home to four stunning large males: Alex, Kaiser, Rafiki and Siam, three of which are white lions, some of the rarest in the world. Kevin visits the Kaiser pride to see how they are getting along, but realizes there is an increase in fighting. In order to restore peace, Kaiser must be moved to another reserve and maybe even abroad. Then, Kevin finds the older lions are developing an unknown and possibly dangerous growth on their lips, heads and legs. And, the film Kevin has been filming for the past four years is finally ready for its premiere. Will Kevin be able to juggle his responsibilities? We’ll see him nurture his animals and work hard to save the Kingdom.

As always, a little video sneak peek:

I am very fasinated with how you interact with the lions . Ever since i was a kid i have always wanted to do what you are doing with the lions. I would give up every thing to move out there with you and dedicate my life to the preservation and conservation of Lions and learn from you about your passion for the magnificent creatures. Please respond back to me about your work and what it takes to begin in your field. Thanks ! Sheldon
