Cute of the day: Baby Anteater!!

It’s a boy! This little guy – a lesser anteater or tamandua – was born just days ago to mom, Cypress, at Discovery Cove, in Orlando, Florida.

Tamanduas are native to the forests of Mexico to South America. They use their sharp claws and 16-inch-long tongue (41 cm) to eat up to 9,000 ants in a single day.

It’s really interesting, I would kept him as a pet.

They are WAY cuter as babies than they are full grown! ;-)

Poor little thing looks like a cross between a lizard and a rat. I think the bubble eyes just takes away any thoughts of cuteness.

Adorable!! :)
Anyway, please visit and comment on our site! It would be a GREAT help! :]
