Pet Art

There have been so many great animal artists coming to our attention recently, and the Museum of Joe Art (MoJA) is one of them! While we haven’t had the pleasure of seeing their work in person, we do enjoy the style and idea of custom art to honor pets. Ron and Joe are best known for their Art Parts line of humorous, high-end clip art and stock illustrations, but now they offer their new pet product: handmade, one-of-a-kind, 3D constructed art!

Capture the essence of your beloved pet with a custom-created dimensional piece of folk art. Constructed completely from corrugated cardboard, then painted with brightly colored acrylic paint and varnished for protection, these pet portraits are a beautiful way to honor your best friend. You choose the frame colors from their palette, send Ron and Joe some photos of your pet with some descriptive information and in about three weeks you have original art of your best friend!

Take a look at the image they sent our way (click to enlarge):

Very very cool. Now I know what to get my friends as presents and what I would love to receive. Thanks for posting this.

  2. What a great idea! And a good gift for someone just adopting a pet.
