Have you always thought that your pet was born to be a rock star? Now is your chance to dress your pet like a rock star, and possibly win a $5,000 prize for doing it!

There’s a new photo contest by the Independent Film Channel called “Dress Your Kid (and/or Pet) Like a Rock Star” where runners up win $500 each and the grand prize winner earns a cool $5,000. Plus, the highest rated photo each week wins a $50 iTunes gift certificate. Contestants may enter as many photos as they wish (one per day). Kids in the photos must be between the ages of 0 and 10 (pets of all ages accepted). All IFC.com visitors can view and “rate” the photos that have been submitted.

The contest is open now until November 19, 2008! Doesn’t it sound like a fun contest?
