Many cat parents experience a stressed out cat in their day, but the majority may not be aware of how the strain affects their furry friend’s behavior. As the number of multi-cat households increase*, and the busy holiday season approaches, it’s important to know that any change in schedule or physical environment can lead to feline stress – which in turn, results in behavior problems such as aggression, urine spraying and scratching. To help alleviate these negative behaviors, many vets recommend using pheromone-based products such as Feliway.
Available exclusively through veterinarians, Feliway replicates the facial pheromones cats use to familiarize themselves with their surroundings, and can be applied either as a spray or plug-in diffuser, near the cat’s bed or favorite resting place. Feliway is scientifically proven (not a homeopathic remedy) to reduce urine marking, aggressive behavior and scratching in cats, and is free of side effects or dependency because it is not a prescription.
One lucky reader will have a chance to try Feliway for themselves! Would you like to win a spray and diffuser for your family and cat?
Please leave a comment on this post before 9:00pm (MST) on October 6th. Be sure to fill in the email portion of the comment form so you can be contacted if you win. In your comment, tell me something funny about your cat(s).

Oooo, I NEED this!
I would love this for my cats!
Sounds great! my boys need to relax!
Thanks!!!
I would love this for my cat, he is sitting in quarantine since 8 May 2008 and will only be home on 8 December 2008. I want to spoil him a little and also give him some calmness as he will have to get used to new surroundings as we have moved to a new country. He is a very early bird and sits and stares at me sleeping. If I just move one eyelid slightly he screams blue murder until I get up. I use my cell phone as my alarm clock and on weekends I obviously dont set it, so he sits on my bedside table and hits the cell phone trying to make it go off to wake me, very clever littel boy!!!
id love to try this for my 2 exotic persians, as the male is always walking around meowing at nothing maybe talking to his self i dont know cant understand cat language some times i wish i could to hear what he is actually saying lol. the female just wants to eat all the time but she never used to be like this only since she first went on heat after we got the male weired and she loves to scratch at my dining chairs when they have about 3 scratching poles through the house. well hope i win to try this out would be fantastic.
