The animal victims of the California fires.
As an animal lover, the animals, both wild and domestic, always come to my mind when a disaster strikes. The good news is that most people were able to evacuate with their pets, but there were still many animals left to fend for themselves. The Humane Society has been working very hard on their behalf. Unfortunately, the fires are just the start of the danger. If CA gets heavy rain anytime soon, the lack of trees and foilage will cause massive mudslides resulting in even more destruction.
