As an animal lover, the animals, both wild and domestic, always come to my mind when a disaster strikes. The good news is that most people were able to evacuate with their pets, but there were still many animals left to fend for themselves. The Humane Society has been working very hard on their behalf. You can read all about their efforts on Wayne’s blog and consider making a donation as well if you can!
