Hello! My name is Alexis Trice, animal lover, painter and owner of Welcome To The Doghouse.net! I am a born and raised New Yorker, and you can find me spending my free time at Tompkins Square dog park, with my two Boston Terriers Una and Thea!

I graduated from The School of Visual Arts in NYC with a BFA in Illustration. I have been painting with oils for many years, and animals have always been my favorite subject. I would love to have the chance to paint a portrait of your pet!

Nothing brings me more joy than to meet a new doggie and capture him on canvas! I always carry my digital camera with me, so I never miss an opportunity to take snapshots of an adorable pup.

I started my company about 2 years ago after, and have loved every minute of it! The joy of painting pets brings me so much satisfaction especially when I get to meet them in person and realize how perfectly I captured them on canvas.

I have been featured in Dog Fancy Magazine(Jan 2007), The New York Daily News, City Rag , Pedigree.com Newsletter, Wag Magazine, and also L Magazine.com.
