This is a great idea! Barbara wrote to tell me about the animal wish list, here are the details:
“Animal Wish List yahoo group is a charitable group where pet owners, rescuers, animal sanctuaries, and animal lovers post messages about the items, supplies, volunteer work, and/or funds they need in caring for animals.
Items can range from pet food coupons, pet houses, pet bedding and
bathing materials, to building materials needed for barns etc.., to
funds needed in caring for pets or paying vet bills or kennel bills
etc…and even volunteer work to care for pets. It is a group that allows people to help people directly with their animals.Messages in the Animal Wish List yahoo group can be viewed by the public (they need not join the group to view messages and offer help). To offer help, all a viewer would need to do is contact the sender of the message via the email address supplied within the message.”
What a great idea! Thanks for letting us know about it Barbara, I hope that a lot of people are going to be able to find the help they need for their animals through the Animal Wish List group!
I found a cat last night that had been hit by a car. I knocked on doors with no luck. I posted ads on craigslist to try and find the owner. NOTHING. I dont have the money to take him to the vet. I called this morning to see if they would let me pay on payday but they said no. They want $150 for the visit and $102 for the x-rays. I believe he has a broken hip I dont know if his bladder was hit..he hasnt tried to go yet. I dont want to have the poor thing destroyed. A women from craiglist told me about this site.. Please if anyone can help I would be so greatful. Maybe you know a cheaper place to go in Bullhead city az??
